Commitment/College Signing Day is a fun and exciting celebration for high school seniors! It's a special event where Class of 2025 students from all regions come together to be recognized for their hard work and celebrate their postsecondary plans. There will be presentations on stage by Region Superintendents and a college/community fair.
Commitment/College Signing Day will be held at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Exposition Park.

Families should enter parking at the intersection of W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and S. Hoover.
The event is 9:00am-1:00pm.The Coliseum gates will open at 8:00a.m.

No! Registration and entry are free for students and family members.
Get ready for major raffle giveaways, such as laptops, iPads, headphones, and Uber Eats gift cards! There will be photo booths, signing of banners by region, a stage program with the Region Superintendents, and more fun surprises. The Class of 2025 will be celebrated with their individual names shared on the Coliseum Jumbotrons.
Will Class of 2025 students have their individual names called?
There will be speeches and presentations by each LAUSD region, but due to the program duration individual student names will not be called out.
Free LAUSD buses are full, but we encourage families to use public transportation.
Beat the traffic and Go Metro:
Families are strongly encouraged to ride E Line (formerly "Expo") trains or J Line 910 (formerly "Silver") express buses,
E Line riders may exit at either the Jefferson/USC station or the Expo/USC station (both stations are located north of the Coliseum), and J Line 910 riders may exit at the 37th St./USC station (east of the Coliseum on I-110).
Trains take just 15 minutes to get from Culver City or Downtown LA, where you can transfer via other Metro Rail lines. Skip long parking lines and remember to TAP your card on validators before each boarding, even when transferring to other lines. Each person must have a TAP card as they cannot be shared. Free parking is available at many stations but parking at Culver City and La Cienega/Jefferson fills up early. Plan ahead at metro.net or use Google Transit.
Parking is available at the LA Memorial Coliseum Green Lot. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure parking, as spaces are be limited.
Directions: Enter the parking area from the intersection of W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and S Hoover. Parking staff will direct you to the correct lot.

Yes - senior students can sign in and receive their wristbands at the event.
The Coliseum requires that personal belongings should be in clear stadium-type bags 12” by 6” by 12”, or;
a one-gallon clear plastic storage bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
Guests may carry in a small clutch bag or purse approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap. Bags may be subject to inspection upon entry. For more information on the Coliseum Bag Policy, visit: http://www.lacoliseum.com/beclear
Can I bring bottled water?
Factory sealed bottles of water, 17 oz. or less are allowed (limit 2 bottles per person). Attendees are allowed to bring in empty reusable bottles that are not metal.
All persons and their belongings may be subject to bag screening and metal detection prior to entering the Coliseum. Participants are encouraged to arrive early to avoid delays. All prohibited items will not be allowed inside the Coliseum.
The following items are NOT ALLOWED in the Coliseum:
Bags, backpacks or purses which do not meet Bag Policy guidelines. Hard or soft coolers, baskets, packages or containers;
Alcoholic beverages, bottles or cans. (Factory sealed bottles of water, 17 oz. or less, are allowed; limit 2 per person);
Illegal drugs and weapons including firearms, knives, explosives, fireworks, lighters and laser pointers;
Professional cameras (lenses longer than 3”) and camera equipment, selfie-sticks, tripods and video or audio recording equipment;
Banners, sticks, poles, inflatables, frisbees, balls.
Unsliced fruits or vegetables;
Umbrellas, balloons, strollers, skateboards and folding or beach chairs;
Noise making devices such as whistles, horns or musical instruments;
Pets (service animals are allowed);
The Coliseum is a smoke-free environment. Smoking, smokeless tobacco and smoking implements are prohibited in all areas of the Coliseum.
