Learning is not a one-sided adventure. In order for your child to learn and reach their full potential, it is crucial that we work together. I am here for your child, and you as well. Your child needs you too! Let's work together to support your child this year.
RESPONSIBILITY
RESPONSIBILITY
One of the biggest social skills we work on in second grade is responsibility. One way your child will learn responsibility this year is by attending class regularly and completing their assignments. But, they will need your support. Children this age are learning to become responsible and need great role models.
Everyday your child will need to log into Schoology to get their homework assignments and check for important announcements.

Communication between school and home is important. In order for things to work, we all need to be patient, kind, and understanding with one another.
Remember, I am always an email away and here to help you and your child. When we communicate, we can solve problems and stress less about difficulties and challenges we encounter along the way.

Your child will need certain supplies to be successful in 2nd grade. Please make sure your child has these basic supplies at home so they will be able to soar!
