We are 6th-8th grade students at WPMS SJ. We have one common goal to support our peers as well as the future of the community who has raised us. We strive to be change makers and bring pride to our families and inner city youth. We are united in making our community a better place through small everyday changes.
This year we helped create equity in young women’s education by making menstrual products more easily accessible. We identified items in need, high traffic areas and build relationships with community partners. We included our community through the act of service, education as well as buy in from administrators to make this a sustainable project.
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our students and community we were able to donate over $800 worth of items to homeless youth for the 2nd year in a row.
