Media Studies

Students will be completing Component 2 content in the first week and will then be revising over the Component 1 paper. Students will be revising over all set texts for this component and will be practising exam-style questions. 

Exam techniques should be practised and used to support pupils' retention of knowledge. 

Below are past papers that your child can complete at home. Parents can use the mark scheme to support marking and checking of knowledge and understanding of the child. 

NOTE: The set texts have changed from previous years. Please change the set text according to what we have studied. For example, if the paper has ‘Spectre’ change to ‘No Time To Die’. All questions are still appropriate to answer but the exam board has updated the set texts for your year group. I have updated some of the papers below but not all of them. The mark scheme will also look different. The mark scheme still applies but you may have to overlook the ‘indicative content’ for some of the set texts.
