We are living in the future. It's here. Digital Currency. The first country to adopt a digital currency was the Bahamas in 2019.
Some thoughts:
How long until we can use a digital currency to purchase a cup of coffee or gas up our car?
Unlike the anonymity of cash, will the government control digital currency so that they can see what their citizens are spending their money on?
How many countries will create their own digital currency and how many will adopt one that has already been created? El Salvador was the first to adopt Bitcoin, the first ever cryptocurrency, as their legal tender in September 2021.
