LAMS Counselors' Corner

December 5, 2017

(and we need your help)

Last year, LAMS (through our Where Everybody Belongs Club) adopted a local family in need for the holidays. This year we expanded by adopting two. We ask all LAMS students to support the effort by contributing in any way you see fit.

You can buy a gift, send the donation of canned goods or other non-perishable items, donate gift wrap, bags, tags or tape or send a small financial contribution. Checks MUST be written to LAPS with WEB CREW FAMILY in the memo line.

Our goal is to give each family some gifts, some food and the organization requires a Smith’s gift card. Items can be wrapped or not...if they are wrapped please add a post it note that says which family member the gift is for.

Family #1:

** Mom: Shirt size small, jacket size medium, shoe size 8, pants size 0/1. Her favorite color is orange. Mom didn’t list any personal items for herself. Ideas will be listed at the bottom.

** Boy, 10: Shirt size medium (size 10), jacket size medium, shoe size 3 1/2, pants size 10 slim. His favorite colors are black and white. He likes Halo, legos, and art activities.

Family #2:

** Mom: Shirt size 3XL, jacket size 3XL, shoe size 12W, pants size 18 long. Her favorite colors are black and grey. She likes mermaids.

** Girl, 8: Shirt size 10, jacket size 10, shoe size 4, pants size 10. Her favorite colors are pink and purple. She likes toys, would like a diary, likes to paint and anything "girly."

Check out our new Facebook page made by our Assistant Principal, Pam Miller. If you "like" the page, it will be a great way to keep up with what's going on. Also, Pam takes photos of many of our school activities. It's going to be a fun page to regularly check out while you're scrolling through Facebook. Just look for the page named Los Alamos Middle School.
