CHARITABLE PURPOSES

The Lasallian Trust of Singapore Ltd. (LTS) is a registered charity and a public company limited by guarantee. It reports to the Brother Visitor of the De La Salle Brothers. LTS exists to strengthen and advance the Lasallian mission in Singapore and to keep the Lasallian network strong and vibrant. It also makes sure the resources that sustain the mission are properly anchored and well used, in line with our One La Salle vision. Guided by its Board of Trustees, LTS pursues the following charitable purposes:

• To provide oversight, supervision, and strategic direction over all Lasallian institutions in Singapore, including making all major appointments in consultation with the Brother Visitor and conducting periodic institutional reviews.

• To advise the Brother Visitor on key matters concerning the Lasallian mission in Singapore and to discharge the Visitor's temporal roles and functions as applicable.

• To promote and support Lasallian values-based education, formation, and moral instruction for all stakeholders, including school leaders, teachers, staff, parents, and students, and to provide financial assistance, including scholarships and financial aid, to students and families beyond the Ministry of Education's support schemes, while preserving the Lasallian brand and identity.

• To act as custodian of all real property owned by the De La Salle Brothers in Singapore used for educational purposes, and to manage and develop these properties in furtherance of the Lasallian mission.
