• AISD Common App will open on October 17, 2022 at portal.austinisd.org (Parent Portal Account)

• LASA Supplemental Form will open on October 11, 2022

• Tuesday, October 18, 2022, 6:30pm-8pm - Future LASA Student Night: LASA Theatre, 1012 Arthur Stiles Road, Austin, TX 78721. Doors open at 6pm. Presentation will begin promptly at 6:30pm

• Wednesday, October 26, 2022, 6:30pm-8pm - Future LASA Student Night: LASA Theatre, 1012 Arthur Stiles Road, Austin, TX 78721. Doors open at 6pm. Presentation will begin promptly at 6:30pm

• Thursday, November 3, 2022, 6:30pm-8pm - Future LASA Student Night: VIRTUAL, link to live stream will be on the LASA website home page 10 minutes prior to event start. Presentation will be livestreamed beginning promptly at 6:30pm.

• Wednesday, November 16, 2022, 6pm-8pm - LASA Showcase, 1012 Arthur Stiles Road, Austin, TX 78721. Open house where prospective students and their families can walk around and explore our many classes.

We will have 4 virtual Saturday sessions where students and parents can attend to get any help with the application from the LASA Mentoring Committee. These sessions are completely optional and run by parent volunteers. No LASA staff will be present and attending has no bearing on LASA acceptances. A representative from AISD Help Desk will be available to help parents with their portal account and/or the common application. We are here to help!

More information can be found on the sign up form. Bring your drafts for the short answers and/or creative project with you to the session, come practice the sample questions for Admission test and/or get help with your portal account.

• LASA Admission Test (student must take the admission test at one of these sessions)

  • Saturday, January 21, 2023, 9-11 AM - LASA Admissions Test: Last Name M-Z

  • Saturday, January 21, 2023, 12:30-2:30 PM - LASA Admissions Test: Last Name A-L

    • Students do not need to register or bring anything for the test, simply show-up at LASA 15 min before the test as we will begin promptly.

    • Students who need testing accommodations should email andy.paulson@austinisd.org no later than Wednesday, 1/11/23 for the test on 1/14 or no later than 1/18/23 for the test on 1/21.

• January 12, 2023 - February 7, 2023: For students who have submitted their completed/final application; Information on how to request a date to shadow is sent to student after final application is submitted.

• Wednesday, February 8, 2023 - Course Registration Information mailed via USPS after 6pm to accepted students.

• Saturday, February 11, 2023, 10-11:30 AM & 1-2:30 PM - Newly Accepted Parent Coffees: Come & Go and Get Your Questions Answered by Current LASA Parents

• Saturday, March 4, 2023 - In person event. Elective Fair followed by mandatory choice sheet event. More details closer to the date.

• Wednesday, March 8, 2023 - Virtual Choice Sheet Meeting (no elective fair) for those students that missed the in-person event.
