Elementary school students will have the opportunity to get to know their new teacher during LISD’s annual Meet the Teacher event. Meet the Teacher will take place virtually on Thursday, August 20, at 3:00 p.m. Elementary school principals and teachers will be able to introduce themselves and express their expectations for the new school year.

- Elementary school students will start class at 7:45 a.m. and end class at 3:30 p.m. (Fridays end time is 3:15 p.m.)
- Middle school students will start class at 8:00 a.m. and end at 3:45 p.m.
- High school students will start their school day at 8:15 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m.
