Our meeting room is available to rent for events, and patrons can find more information on the facility rentals page of the LAPL website. There are a few things worth mentioning as well:
Library events will take priority, and we generally have a very full schedule that keeps our meeting room occupied. If the patron is set on a particular date, you could check the internal branch calendar to see if that date is even available.
The rental fee is a minimum of $250. This can be waived in certain circumstances, such as for events that are free, open to the public, and educational or cultural in nature.
The rental requires proof of insurance.

If a patron is seeking a room for a small private meeting, they may be better served by a study room. We do not have study rooms at our branch, but here is a list of nearby libraries with study rooms.
