Our Pre-Primary campus, found on Lyons Street in Worcester, caters for Turning 2 year old`s to Grade R (usually turning 6 years old).

We currently have four class teachers, two assistant teachers and one support staff member.

Our youngest class, turning 2 years old, is limited to only 6 learners to help give them quality attention while they learn to play and work with others. Our 3 year olds to 5 year olds are spread across two classes and are grouped according to their development and emotional needs. They are a vital link in helping learners adapt to compulsory formal schooling beginning in Grade R. Our learners are given a great mixture of play learning and structured formal schooling. We are proud of our Pre-Primary and the quality of love and learning that each child receives here.

Lanner House Pre-Primary is a safe environment in which children are nurtured with love. Our curriculum has been developed over 25 years and is implemented by qualified staff giving every child the opportunity to grow to their full potential.

The age-appropriate curriculum incorporates time for creative activities, music and movement, free and directed outdoor play as well as quiet cognitive play. Each week's theme includes colour, shape, pattern, sound, number and perceptual and numeracy concepts.

During the day, the teachers also set up stations that cater for the learners different interests in the playground. They are encouraged to move to a station they are interested in where their interest is further nurtured.

Outings and weekly assemblies ensure child-appropriate exposure to the world beyond home and school.  Christian values are exemplified by teachers and children are guided in God’s Word during literacy morning circle time. Assemblies also include Praise and Worship and Bible lessons.

Highlights of our year include the annual concert and the Fun Sports Morning. Our well-equipped playground is thoughtfully laid out with a range of activities and apparatus to develop all learning areas of your child.
