Ken Done

Students have explored the colourful bold world of Australian Icon Ken Done.

Using paints and colour slicks they have recreated the scenic Sydney Harbour.

This work is created using light reflective pigments and is luminescent under a blue light!

Friedensreich Hundertwasser

Looking at the work of Friendensreich Hundertwasser and his use of curved and flowing lines to paint the environments. Students have used the warm and cool contrasting colours to create thier own fields of flowers.

my country

I love a sunburnt country, A land of sweeping plains,

Of ragged mountain ranges, Of droughts and flooding rains.

I love her far horizons, I love her jewel sea.

Her beauty and her terror.

The wide brown land for me!
