The sun is shining brighter and the days are getting longer. I think you'll agree that this is a welcomed difference to the dark, grey days of winter.
It has been thoroughly uplifting to see all the children dressed as superheroes for Red Nose Day. We had heroes right from Spiderman to somebody's nan. It's really incredible to see how children have interpreted who a hero is to them and how they've demonstrated it.
We are really looking forward to welcoming parents to the school for face to face parents evening and celebrating the wonderful learning that the children have been engaged with.
Have a lovely weekend.

Learner Profile Attributes
At LPPA, we want to ensure that all of our children become well rounded life long learners. As part of this we explore the learner profile attributes, discussing these with the children and providing real life examples. The learner profile attributes are; risk-takers, knowledgeable, caring, reflective, inquirers, open-minded, communicators, principled, balanced and thinkers.
Reflective
It is important that we reflect upon our learning journey and be aware of our goals and achievements. We as teachers encourage our children to celebrate their achievements by sharing their work with their peers. As teachers we reflect on the children's thoughts and ideas and use these to plan future experiences. At home you can encourage your child to be reflective by asking them about their learning journey.

This week we would like to share Gracie's gymnastics achievement with the school community. Gracie is in Enterprise Class and on Sunday 13th March represented Gymfinity Maidstone's Under 7’s Gymnastics Squad at an interclub competition in Chatham.
This was Gracie's very first gymnastics competition yet amazingly she came away with three bronze medals! These medals were awarded to Gracie for her bar and beam routine, and for coming 3rd place overall in the competition for her age group.
Well done Gracie! This is an amazing achievement and we are so pleased that you have shared your successes with the school. We look forward to hearing more about your future gymnastic accomplishments in due course.
