Page Art Education

Welcome to Art!

In this class, students will use a variety of materials and techniques to create sketchbooks, drawings, paintings, printing, three dimensional sculptures and ceramic works of art, as well as learn about Art History. With the exception of the portfolio, students will be exposed to different projects during their three years at Page. All of the work is done in class and will be brought home with a grade sheet to be signed by a parent or guardian and returned. All materials are provided. No experience required.

The following are guidelines for the classroom:

Respect Yourself

*Come to class on time.

*Bring your agenda

*Show your best self, with your best attitude, ready to do your best work.

*Use your class time wisely.

Respect Others

*Always treat others the way you would like to be treated.

*Do not touch anyone else’s work without their permission.

*No put downs.

*Please listen when another person is talking.

Respect for the Classroom

*Please clean up after yourself.

*Put supplies where they belong and make sure they are properly cleaned.

*Remember we have a nice classroom to work in and do your best to keep it this way. Do not write on desks or break things.
