LHS Summer Reading Selections

If you are a Lakewood High School student, this is your summer reading destination. If you are a freshman, sophomore or junior taking a general English class, please skip to the next text box. If you are taking an advanced, AP class or Diversity in Literature, you have a separate summer assignment. Please click on your class tab above to get to your summer reading website. If you are taking EL English 1, 2 or 3, please click here.

If you are taking English 1, English 2 or English 3, please choose ONE book from these Teen Buckeye Award nominee books below and complete the assignment. See the books below. If you are taking EL English 1,2, or 3, please click on this link for your selections and assignment.

These Teen Buckeye Award nominee books are excellent candidates for you to read this summer. Read the summary, visit the website, and watch the book trailers to help you make a choice. Lakewood Public Library has a limited number of copies of each book, which will be loaned on a first come, first-served basis. So get there soon!

After you read the book, choose the class tab, Eng 1, 2,and 3, above to find your assignment, which is due August 23.
