Lakeview Elementary is pleased to offer a variety of special classes to our students outside of their core curriculum. Each week students attend Art, Gym, Library, Music and Technology to enrich their learning and development.
I have been teaching art at Lakeview Elementary for the past 18 years. It is an honor to share my love of art with my students and see their creativity on a daily basis. I look forward to my annual Art Festival where Lakeview high school students guide the elementary students in large collaborative works of art.

I have been the library/media center aide at Lakeview Elementary for 26 years. As the elementary library aide, I enjoy working with young children and instilling in them a love of reading! Above all else, I try to encourage students to share kindness in our school and community. My husband John and I are residents of Cortland. We have three sons: Jim, Dan, and Tom. We are proud grandparents of Quinn, Reid, and Owen. Our greatest joys are traveling and helping our community

I teach elementary music grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. I have two bachelor's degrees, one in Music Education PreK-12 and the other in Early Childhood Education PreK-5, both from Youngstown State University. I play flute, piccolo, piano, and sing. I live in Austintown with my husband, Kevin, and my son Sam. I look forward to watching your child grow into a Tuneful, Beautiful, and Artful student who will become an adult who appreciates and enjoys music!

I have been teaching at Lakeview for 10 years. I am a graduate of Otterbein and Youngstown State University. I am married and have two children, a cat, and a dog. I love all things science and believe that the problem solving skills that it teaches apply to every aspect of life. I challenge my students to view the world and try to make it a better place- to be a positive change in the world.
