I was born and raised in Alliance, Ohio and graduated from Marlington High School. I remained in Alliance throughout my college years, attending Mount Union College (now University of Mount Union), where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature with a minor in Adolescent Education. I moved to the area after getting hired at Lakeview in 2011, and currently reside in Poland with my husband, Lee. In the 2017-2018 school year, I began working on my Master’s Degree in Special Education, and I am currently working towards completing the degree.
I began my career teaching 11th grade Language Arts, but found my passion teaching 8th grade Language Arts. I enjoy experiencing the large academic and personal gains that students make throughout their 8th grade year. Over the past five years, I have worked closely with the high school Language Arts teachers to create an engaging yet rigorous curriculum that prepares students for high school.
I am extremely excited to work in our brand new building, as it will provide new and exciting learning opportunities for our students. Please contact me at any time with questions. I look forward to working with you.

My teaching career started in September of 2002 with the Trumbull County Education Service Center -housed at Joseph Badger. I was hired by Lakeview School District in August of 2005. I began teaching as 5th grade Intervention Specialist at Cortland Elementary, and then transferred to the middle school when that building closed. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education (7-12) from the University of Las Vegas Nevada and a Master of Education degree as an Intervention Specialist (K-12) from Kent State University.
My family currently lives in Bazetta Township. I have a husband, four daughters, and a dog named Luke. My husband and I are both Lakeview graduates, and all of our children either attend or have graduated from Lakeview Schools. I enjoy spending time with my family. I am an avid reader and love to travel.
Our students come from a wide array of backgrounds and ability levels. I enjoy working with the students and getting to know their unique personalities and learning styles. My goal is for every student to experience their own successful year. I am grateful to be part of such a terrific school district and community. I look forward to many more years of teaching!

My teaching career began in 2003. I taught at Austintown Middle School for 10 years and was then hired by Lakeview in 2013. I graduated from YSU with a bachelor's degree in Special Education and a Master's degree in Autism and Related Disabilities.
As an intervention specialist at Lakeview, my goal is to help your child make progress and become more confident as an individual. I believe each year brings new challenges and accomplishments.
My husband and I reside in Bazetta. We are blessed with 2 daughters, Annabelle and Charlotte. The girls keep us busy with their sports and activities. Go Bulldogs!

I graduated from Ohio University in 2009 with my bachelors degree in Marketing. After graduation, I began substitute teaching at Lakeview Middle School and feel in love with being in the classroom. In 2011 I went back to school and earned my a K-12 license and Masters degree in Special Education through Notre Dame in Cleveland Ohio. I was hired at Lakeview Middle School in 2013, and I am currently working with 6th grade students in all subject areas. In my free time I enjoy reading, cooking and being active outside. There is so much to look forward to this school year and I think that with all of us working together we can make this a very positive experience. I look forward to working with you and your child to ensure a successful school year!
