| Human Resources / Risk Division Tenant Improvement

L. A. Kersh Architecture, Inc. was asked to design space for two City of Eugene Divisions, Human Resources and Risk Management, in this 10,000 square foot tenant improvement project completed early in the Spring of 2012 for approximately $675,000. Integrating common functions and improving the efficiency of personnel interface were high priorities in the design process.

More space for needed meeting rooms and client "break-out" spaces were created in this open office based scheme. The plan uses gentle wall curves, maximizes natural light and provides a contemporary color scheme to soften the institutional feel of these two City of Eugene Divisions.

An inviting lobby space that is common to both groups allows pleasant interaction with visitors. This central space with low slung office partitions allows great line-of-sight opportunities for personnel within both primary office areas, saving on the need for additional greeters.
