Steve Navarro 

Coach Steve Navarro has been coaching and teaching at Lake Mills High School for 9 years and counting. He has been the defensive coordinator for 6 of those years. Before his experience at Lake Mills, he also coached at Norman North High School (1 year), Madison West High School (1 year), Thornton High School (2 years) and Carl Sandburg High School (2 years).  Coach Navarro has coached linebackers (inside and outside), lineman (offensive and defensive) and corners in his 15 years of coaching football.

Coach Navarro has been around football all of his life.  His dad, Mike Navarro, formerly the head coach at Carl Sandburg High School in Illinois, seeing Steve through his high school football career.  In high school, he played tight end and an outside linebacker.  After high school, Steve had the privilege of playing college football at Bowling Green State University in Ohio playing tight end.
