Social Skills Lessons

Why are Social Skills so important for my child?

Social Skills give our students the tools they needs to address a variety of social situations with socially appropriate responses. Teaching social skills has become an important component to many special education curricula. The goal is to provide students with prosocial skills training through different types of modalities. These modalities include Modeling, Social Stories, Role Playing, and Transfer Activities. Teaching these skills provide many benefits for our students and will improve their problem-solving skills, identification of emotions, increased self-confidence, and much more.
