What’s Happening in Second Grade?

Aloha Families,

I'm SO excited to have your student in my class this year! This year is going to look a very different a lot of new learning will be happening for students and for teachers.

For all class assignments, I will be using Zoom (video) and Seesaw (assignments/parent communication). The first two weeks of school I will work with the students in class to show them how to access each computer program when at home. Once the school has entered all students into Seesaw, I will begin to use Seesaw for communication and student assignments. Until then, I will be texting you. My phone number is (612) 524-8702. It will show that it is from Minneapolis, MN. It's me! You are able to call and text me. Please know that I do not answer my phone when teaching- the kids are my first priority. Feel free to leave a voicemail or text. If it is an emergency, call the school office at (808)662-4020 and let the office staff know it's an emergency and they can relay the message to me in person.

If you have not completed the school survey (online vs. blended model) please complete it as soon as possible. The survey will help our school better prepare for this school year. CLICK HERE TO COMPLETE IT. If you child needs to borrow a computer from the school, please make sure you enter that on the school model survey.
