About Me/Acerca de Mí

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State University, Fullerton.  I knew I loved working with children, so I earned my Teaching Credential.  After teaching for a year, I earned my Master's Degree in Education, also from California State University, Fullerton.  

This is my 26th year of teaching in the LaHabra City School District.  I taught 1st grade for 11 years, 1 year of 2nd grade, and have been teaching 3rd grade here at Sierra Vista for 14 years.  

I have been married for 19 years and have two children.  I have a 16 year old son in 11th grade and a 13 year old daughter in 8th grade.  We enjoy spending time together as a family.  We love hiking, camping, and playing games.  I also like to walk, read, and bake.    

Recibí mi Licenciatura en Estudios Liberales de la Universidad Estatal de California, Fullerton. Sabía que me encantaba trabajar con niños, así que obtuve mi Credencial de Enseñanza. Después de enseñar durante un año, obtuve mi Maestría en Educación, también de la Universidad Estatal de California, Fullerton. 

Este es mi 26 año de enseñanza en el Distrito Escolar de la Ciudad de LaHabra. Enseñé primer año grado durante 11 años y he estado enseñando tercer grado aquí en Sierra Vista durante 14 años. 

He estado casado durante 19 años y tengo dos hijos. Tengo un hijo de 16 años en 11th grado y una hija de 13 años en 8th grado. Nos gusta pasar tiempo juntos en familia. Nos encanta hacer senderismo, acampar y jugar. También me gusta caminar, leer y hornear.
