Welcome!/¡Bienvenidos!
I am excited about being your child's teacher this year! Our class theme is Wildcat Explorers, and we definitely will get to explore new adventures in learning this year.
We will be using Seesaw, Zoom, Class Dojo and this Google Site Webpage for communication and teaching/learning.
It is with great anticipation that I begin preparations to guide your child through the wonders of the alphabet, listening to read alouds, enjoying books and learning to read, describing their thinking through dictation and writing, sharing their learning with others, solving math mysteries, designing/building/testing STEAM projects, and of course singing, chanting, rhyming, and celebrating their learning!
¡Estoy emocionado de ser el maestro de su hijo este año! El tema de nuestra clase es Wildcat Explorers, y definitivamente podremos explorar nuevas aventuras en el aprendizaje este año.

Daily Zoom sessions are part of our Distance Learning curriculum and will require your child's consistent participation. I look forward to seeing your child learn and grow! Parents will be informed of the Zoom passcodes for Zoom sessions.

Seesaw
For Seesaw, I will send students their Home Learning Codes so they can join our Seesaw Class and access our Distance Learning lessons. Academic information for parents and students will be be posted in Seesaw. Being able to respond to students' work through Seesaw will be very rewarding to students, parents, and teacher, as well as, promote success with Kindergarten learning.
Para Seesaw, enviaré a los estudiantes su Código de aprendizaje en casa para que puedan unirse a nuestra clase de Seesaw y acceder a nuestras lecciones de aprendizaje a distancia. Download the Class Dojo app for an easy way to comunicate. This can be used as two way communication between you and I. I can also send out announcements and reminders to the whole class or to individuals.
There is also a Class Story where you can see what is happening in our classroom. I post pictures and announcements there.
