Welcome to LAFSD Elementary Music
Hello from the Lafayette School District Elementary Music Teachers!
Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year! We are excited to welcome back students to the music room. Music teachers will be working closely together to ensure consistent and equitable delivery of music instruction across all elementary grade levels in the district.
Your child will have a grade level music class every week. These classes are taught by the elementary music teachers.
Students will use QuaverMusic Curriculum, SmartMusic, and Traditional Instruments in music classes. Lessons include interactive movement components, music theory, listening segments, instrument exploration, reading, and composition.
We look forward to getting to know your child this year!
