The California Community Colleges make up the largest system of higher education in the nation, with 2.6 million students attending 112 colleges. With a wide range of educational offerings, the colleges provide workforce training, basic courses, certificate and degree programs, and preparation for transfer to four-year institutions.
COLLEGE SCORECARD is an online tool, created by the United States government, for consumers to compare the cost and value of higher education institutions in the United States. It displays data in five areas: cost, graduation rate, employment rate, average amount borrowed, and loan default rate.
YOU VISIT makes virtual tours from over 600 colleges available. Tours can be selected based on criteria such as tuition, enrollment size, location, and two- or four-year degree programs.

Upward Bound provides fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. The program provides opportunities for participants to succeed in their precollege performance and ultimately in their higher education pursuits. Upward Bound serves: high school students from low-income families; and high school students from families in which neither parent holds a bachelor's degree. The goal of Upward Bound is to increase the rate at which participants complete secondary education and enroll in and graduate from institutions of postsecondary education.
