CCR/AVID Unit

This site was created to support students in their college and career readiness journey. Here students will be able to access resources regarding career exploration, college admissions process, and financial aid. In addition, there are resources to help educators in planning lessons and guiding students, toolkits for college and career culture building, and more. This site was created in the summer of 2024 and will be updated periodically by the LACOE CCR/AVID team.

LACOE’s College and Career Readiness (CCR)/Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) Unit provides customized support and resources to help educators, schools and districts prepare students for success in their college and career pathways.

The CCR/AVID Unit provides customized support, professional development, technical assistance, and coaching for teachers, counselors, Teachers On Special Assignment (TOSAs), and administrators at schools and districts. CCR/AVID is a resource for educators throughout Los Angeles County to address and integrate College and Career Readiness expectations and skills for all students and support the implementation of the AVID College Readiness System (ACRS).
