Here are some of the best walks in the Chilterns from Laceys Family Farm. We are fortunate that our farm makes an excellent base to explore the Chiltern Hills AONB. There are endless possibilities for walkers, trail runners, horse riders and cyclists to enjoy. Come and park up at the farm during opening hours, here are three walks we recommend with an easy, moderate and challenging loop.
This is a 1.5 miles (2.5 kilometres) walk with lovely views into the Hambleden valley within our farm boundary. With one easy descent and easy climb, the landscape features the best of the Chilterns with undulating valleys, green pastures and mixed woodlands. Look out for our Guernsey herd on the fields!

This is a 4.1 mile (6.6 kilometres) circular walk has got to be one of the best walks in the Chilterns. Starting at Laceys Farm, you have a lovely walk down towards Frieth, dropping down into the small picturesque village. An optional pub stop at the Chequers Inn for food or a pint before heading up a grassy chalky field margin into ancient woodland. A tranquil leg through the wood before linking up with the bottom of Laceys Farm and a walk thorough green fields to get back. Give our cows a wave as you walk past admiring the views!

This is a 11.7 mile (18.8 kilometres) challenging circular walk, one of the top walks in the Chiltern Hills. Starting at Laceys Farm, you have a lovely walk down towards Frieth, dropping down into the small picturesque village. Up and over into Turville (where the Vicar of Dibley was shot) and onto the Chilterns Way. This will loop you around into the heart of the Hambleden valley, where you can pop into Hambleden or continue your walk up to Skirmett. The route then takes you into peaceful woodlands before returning through the farm. Refreshment options available in all the villages the walk passes through.
