Personal Information

I am leader of LaCCAN research group and lab, and professor at Computer Institute from Federal University of Alagoas, Brazil. Co-founder and consultant of Toth Intelligence and Ny research. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil, in 2008. My research interests include data science, data analysis, smart city applications, distributed algorithms, and machine learning.

The LaCCAN lab is an interdisciplinary research group that works in different areas of knowledge, integrating research, innovation, and extension. Data Science is the main studied area applied in the different disciplines of Smart Cities applications.
