Experimental Psychopathology Laboratory

The Experimental Psychopathology Lab is dedicated to improve understanding of mechanisms that cause and maintain clinical symptoms in psychological disorders. We use well-controlled experimental paradigms in order to learn about the different variables that exacerbate emotional distress and how these can be treated. We are especially interested in bridging the gap between basic cognitive sciences and clinical research. Our primary focus in the lab is on mechanisms that drive disordered eating and body image disturbance during adolescence.
