Raising Canes and Dave’s Hot Chicken have been widely regarded as some of the best places for the chicken connoisseur in our community with each restaurant having its own set of fans.
We will begin with the more widely tried restaurant. Around school have been begging for a definitive review of Raising Canes by the top experts Alan Meyo and Luis Maldonado, along with rookies Mauricio Ramirez and Juan Vaca, who have never eaten Canes before.
We know many of you like to hype up Canes as one of the best fast food places, so we had to do it right and give our opinion on the food. Since we aren't no “liberal sissies” we only got the Caniacs (The most bountiful meal with 6 tenders and toast along with some fries) and devoured them with ease. The best way we can describe Canes is top tier bland food as the food is basic but we believe it to be top quality so much so that we had to have a Last Supper to enjoy the divinity of this meal under the Raising Canes God. For the price range of $10-20 it's sometimes worth the money but only from time to time. Overall a 6/10 somehow more mid than our sports teams
Next to review is Dave's Hot Chicken: the more extreme option of the two with many not having the the ability to physiologically adjust to a heat stress exposure to handle this delicacy. For this review we decided to order the hot (The third hottest flavor) since in this case we were a little afraid of what might happen to our digestive tract. The heat on this is noticeable but it's not unbearable and its best comparison that we can think of is the same spice level as a bag of takis. The food at Daves looks like it's going to be the most juicy and flavorful meal and it surprisingly lives up to expectations at 8.5/10. For the same price of $10-20 it's definitely the better option with more flavors and we most definitely need to catch you at Dave’s Hot Chicken after this review.
