Every 25 years they return…they come back for them…for the town, they have to survive the night…or will they all come out alive until the time is up?
One snowy day in L.A, Justin and Craig are met with the face of boredom as they trudge onwards to a late night meeting with some teachers for a school related issue.
“Dude I hate meetings?”, Justin says confidently.
“Yeah let’s get this over with so I can make like a squirrel and scram”, Craig utters shakily. Justin and Craig make their way from their classroom to the meeting directly above where they work.
“You know anyone else who’s gonna be there?”, Craig says groaning.
“Uhhhh I don't know, maybe other teachers like always?”, “Justin responds. They arrived at their destination in the classroom that was directly above them. Justin walks over and gets the meeting started.
“Okay everybody you know what we’re here for, any ideas?” The teachers get started with the meeting and after a while nothing seems too uneasy, until…
*clank
“What was that?”, Justin says bewilderedly.
All the teachers look in the direction of where the sound came from. It came from downstairs. But who could possibly be here? At this time? They were absolutely dumbfounded.
“Maybe a squirrel did it…we should go check it out Justin”, said Craig trying to make sense of the situation.
“No we’ll do it”, said Mr. Rivera holding hands with Mr. Gutierrez.
They make their way downstairs to where the noise is, joking about their running earlier this week. But their laughs were shortened when the noise that they once heard upstairs, had finally made its way right to the room next to them, Jessie Hernandez’s room.
They enter the room, constantly looking around for the purpose of being cautious. Mr. Gutierrez was behind as Rivera exclaimed, “With the power of physics and Spanish literacy nothing can beat us!”
They heard another sound and dove for the desk as Gutierrez said to Rivera,“Did you hear that?” and then again to his left “Did you hear that?”
*robotic sounds
“AHHHHHHHHH EVIL BLUE BUNNY”, they both yell out running out of the desk. As they were sprint out of the room, they are stopped by a yellow looking chicken holding a cupcake.
“AHHHHHH”, they both exclaimed once again. Bonnie gets a hold of Mr. Gutierrez, but Mr. Rivera isn’t a fool and calculates “Newton’s First Law of Motion: An object at rest remains at rest, and an object in motion remains in motion at constant speed and in a straight line unless acted on by an unbalanced force.” With that in mind, he shoved a cart into Bonnie. As the creature gets hit and falls down, Mr. Gutierrez puts his foot down and says to chica “no” (in Spanish) and then she cries.
They run away and as they make their way up the stairs, but alas a humming tune is heard echoed from beyond the hallway.
*Diddly dum dum did diddly dum dum
“Oh no”, Rivera mutters under his breath. “AHHHHHHH”, they both scream off screen.
“What’s taking them so long”, Carina Martinez pretentiously asks.
“I don’t know…but we should probably go check on them or something”, muttered Ms. Magdaleno worryingly.
So they all make their way checking each room starting upstairs, one by one; suddenly, another noise can be heard in the next room as all of them make their way to Ms. Ochoa’s classroom and hear clapping noises.
As Justin pulls out his flashlight shakily, Craig is right behind him saying “ladies first”.
“Pipe down Irish man”, Justin said annoyingly.
They make their way scouting the room, top to bottom and A JUMPSCARE!!!
“OH MY DAYS!”, yelled Craig. His flashlight focuses on a young Ms. Ochoa and a young Mr. Stempel playing “patty cake”.
“WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING HERE?”, Craig exclaims!
“We got bored and stayed here”, they both said simultaneously.
Justin lets out a big “bruh”
*clank
“GUYS QUICK SCOOBY DOO FORMATION”, Justin says!
*They all form a Scooby-Doo like formation
“HI GUYS”, A JOYOUS MS. GRAY EXCLAIMS!
“OH MY LANDA”, they all say simultaneously.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?”
*clank
“GUYS QUICK ANOTHER SCOOBY-DOO FORMATION”
As they all follow one after the other down the hallway, to the left of them and down the stairs again they feel a sort of coldness inside of each and every one of themselves. They all begin asking themselves. Why do I feel this way? Could I have avoided this meeting? Did I feed the dog? Is their destiny to seize? Or to Leave? Well tune in next time, for tis’ the season of many mysteries on Christmas Eve.
