My Journey
I first picked up a clipper in March of 2022 when my sister’s boyfriend saw that I was shadowing him whenever he would cut hair. He gave me a few tips and inspired me to start learning. I watched YouTube tutorials from 360 Jeezy, Faded Culture, and Dreclipperhands over and over and over until I was confident enough to cut someone's hair. I finally had the courage to do my first haircut on my uncle and I messed him up–badly.
Thankfully, my uncle doesn't care about his hair and usually shaves his head bald anyway, so he didn’t care. My first few haircuts were terrible, looking back at pictures of them is even worse. But I saw my potential and kept practicing.
After several months of practicing I wanted to start building a clientele but it was extremely hard. I only had a few clients, and so I felt like barbering just wasn’t for me. Nonetheless, I pushed myself harder, even going out of my comfort zone to grow in my business. I typically don’t like to socialize but in order to become successful, I had to do things that make me uncomfortable. I began promoting myself on social media, talking to new people, passing out business cards - all factors that really boosted my clientele in the end. It took patience and hard work to get me where I am today. A journey I’d gladly repeat if it meant reaching the same position I’m in today.
Ultimately, my journey as a barber has had times where I wanted to give up and times where I was motivated to keep going, but it is still not over. This is only the beginning.
Why You Should Book With Me
I have been cutting hair for a year and a half. It almost sounds surreal that I've already taken my business this far, but it’s true. I found a passion and love for cutting hair. I’m grateful to say that I've turned my passion into a job.
I always make sure that my clients are satisfied with the outcome and service. My ultimate goal is to give people a great experience while they sit in my barber chair and feel confident as they hop off my chair. I’m always open to trying out new styles and designs as a way of not only furthering my knowledge as a barber but allowing my client to feel a sense of trust with me. New clients are always welcome to book an appointment and I’m open to answer any questions they have. My clients' ages range from toddlers to elders. I work well with kids and make sure they feel safe and comfortable during the haircut. Paying attention to detail is an important part about being a barber and I make sure to take my time to do exactly that.
Now I know my cuts are great, but what about my shop? Want a place for you and your homies to hangout? I have beverages and snacks provided for my clients and entertainment on the television. Bored of being on your phone while you wait? There's a Playstation 4 and games to play! My environment and space is always clean to assure that it is presentable and safe. Come chill while also getting a haircut and leave lookin’ fresh. My schedule is after school on weekdays and 9am-7pm on weekends. To book an appointment message me at
