Thank you for visiting our research group website. We investigate how light and heat interact with nanoscale optical structures and devices to circumvent conventional thermodynamic constraints and enable new technologies. By tailoring the optical and thermal properties of nanomaterials and metamaterials, we aim to control radiative energy transfer and develop technologies for radiative thermal management, including passive cooling and heating, as well as thermal imaging and sensing.

우리 연구실은 석박과정 대학원생 및 박사후 연구원을 모집하고 있습니다. 연구실에서는 나노스케일에서의 빛과 열의 상호작용을 이해하고 제어하는 연구를 수행하며, 나노소재 및 광학 구조를 활용한 복사 기반 열관리, 광·열 특성 제어, 열영상 및 센싱 기술 등을 다루고 있습니다. 전자공학, 재료공학, 물리학 등 관련 분야에 관심과 열정을 가진 학생들의 지원을 환영합니다. 관심있으신 분들은 언제든 연락 바랍니다.
Our laboratory is currently seeking highly motivated MS and PhD students, as well as undergraduate researchers, who are interested in studying the interaction of light and heat at the nanoscale. Students will work on interdisciplinary topics including nanomaterials, optical and thermal engineering, radiative thermal management, and thermal imaging and sensing. Applicants with backgrounds in electrical engineering, materials science, physics, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
