The varsity baseball team started their season this past week with games at Woodland Christian and at Healdsburg, the latter of which ended in a 2-1 loss after 5 2/3 no hit innings from sophomore pitcher, Jake Smart. The hit the road again this week for a two day tournament in Cottonwood on Thursday and Friday and a doubleheader in Arcata on Saturday.
