Within Google Drive
Create a New Folder
Creating a new folder in Google Drive helps you stay organized, especially when you have many photos to upload. Here’s how to do it:
On the Google Drive homepage (web browser) or main screen (app), look for the “New” button.
Click or tap on “New.”
Select “Folder” from the dropdown menu.
Give your folder a name. You could name it “Photos,” “Vacation 2023,” or anything else that helps you identify its contents.
Press Enter or tap “Create” to finish creating the folder.
PHOTOS to DRIVE so they can be used
ANDROID
From your Android phone or tablet
Go to Google Drive App
Tap Add .
Tap Upload.
Find and tap the files that you want to upload from your camera roll.
Find uploaded files in My Drive
APPLE
To move photos from an iPhone to Google Drive, you can use the Google Drive app to upload them:
On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Drive app.
Tap Add .
Tap Upload.
Find and tap the files you want to upload.
CAMERA
To move photos from a camera to Google Drive
Open the Google Drive app on your Android phone.
Tap the “+” icon at the bottom right corner of the screen.
Select “Upload.”
Go to the location of the photos you want to upload.
Tap on the photos to select them.
