New scholarship open with a deadline of November 12, 2026!

Current high school seniors who are citizens of the U.S. are eligible to apply.
Applicants do not need to be related to a member of the Elks.
Scholarhsips are available only to students who enroll in four-year undergraduate degree programs at accredited U.S. American colleges or universities.
500 four-year awards based on academics, leadership and financial need. Awards range from $1000-$7,500 per year.

NJEPA SCHOLARSHIP

New Jersey Emergency Preparedness Association

($1000. scholarships are awarded annually)

The NJEPA honors the State’s exemplary Emergency Managers through a series of scholarships named in their honor. These awards are named for:

Captain Jonathan C. Young, former President of the New Jersey Emergency Preparedness Association and career firefighter and fire officer,
Michael Augustyniak a former career emergency manager and planner for the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management.

Scholarship applications open January 1, 2027. and Deadline to submit is March 17, 2027 by 3pm.
