The UNICO National Kenilworth Chapter Academic Scholarship

The UNICO National Kenilworth Chapter recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional intellectual curiosity, strong academic performance, and a commitment to personal and professional growth. This award supports two (2) students of Italian descent who consistently challenge themselves, contribute meaningfully to their school community, and show promise for future achievements. Recipients of this scholarship are selected based on their academic record, teacher recommendations, and a demonstrated dedication to learning.

The UNICO National Kenilworth Chapter recognizes the accomplishments and achievements of two (2) students of Italian descent, on the athletic fields, while displaying the exemplary qualities of Brian Piccolo - determination, hard work, integrity, leadership, courage, loyalty, teamwork, sportsmanship, and, in general, good character both on and off the playing field.

2026 HORACE HEYMAN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND 

SPONSORS THE DAVID BREARLEY SCHOLARSHIP

In recognition of David Brearley’s contributions to the founding of our nation,

the Kenilworth Board of Education is pleased to offer and promote a $500 essay scholarship as the 

United States of America and Kenilworth Borough celebrate the 250 anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. 

This is a one-time scholarship opportunity available to one (1) selected member of the David Brearley HS Class of 2026.

                                                   UFCW LOCAL 1262'S SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

UFCW Local 1262 awards one $2,500 Memorial Award Scholarship and nine $1,500 scholarships each year.  Students can apply every year they are eligible.

To be eligible for a scholarship, you must be a Local 1262 member or a child of a Local 1262 member and a senior in high school or a freshman, sophomore or junior in college.

The Daniel R. Triano Memorial Committee 

is pleased to offer one $500 award in Daniel’s name to a high school senior who plans to continue their education beyond the 12th grade.

The Jack and Selma Fein Memorial Scholarship

Criteria - single award of $1500.00

1. Applicant must be a 4-year college bound student

2. Excellence in history 

3. Face-to-face community service- preference for student with history of service toward veterans/ senior citizens 

4. Essay not to exceed 500 words- Examples: “Veterans and History, Past and Future”; “Why Veterans Are Important”.Process
1. Selection of student as described;
2. Donor review of application of selected student, to include college attending, study plans, GPA, resume/activities list, essay;
3. Donor Presentation of the award:
    a. If student is not available the evening of the award assembly, we request a family member to be present to accept the award;
    b. If a family member is not available, we request the ability to meet the student at another time in order to personally present the award.

Pizza Kindness Scholarship Award 2026

This scholarship is open to all David Brearley senior students who believe that being kind can make a difference in the world.  Applicant must have plans to further their education by attending college or a trade school.  Selections will be made by a Brearley Staff Committee and the Pizza Kindness Board members.

The Two Hundred Club of Union County

Criteria:

• Attend a private, parochial, or public high school and be a graduating high school senior.

• Be the child of an actively serving police officer, state trooper, or firefighter (including volunteers) in Union County.

• Plan to pursue post-high school education or training full-time.

Hagan Scholarship 2026-2027 Academic Year

The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship for goal driven students in the high school graduating class.  The scholarship provides recipients with the opportunity to graduate college debt-free.

NJSBGA Scholarship Application 2026

Qualifications

The New Jersey School Buildings and Grounds Association seeks to assist students who will continue their education by offering scholarships to high school seniors in search of a Bachelor's or Associate's degree, or training in the Trades or Technology fields. For 2026, a total of 25, $1,500 scholarships will be awarded, reserving up to 5 scholarships for a child of a Regular Member in good standing with the Association. The scholarship payment will be made directly to the recipient upon proof of enrollment in an accredited college or trade school. 

If individuals are interested in being considered, they must complete all of the application materials and submit the required documents by the submission deadline. All applications must be completed on the Kaleidoscope website no later than Monday, April 6, 2026.

Hickory Tree Chorus Scholarship 

Hickoy Tree Chorus is a women’s vocal group based in Stirling, NJ.  A chapter of Sweet Adelines International, they are dedicated to teaching, singing, and performing four-part a cappella harmony.  Their chorus has awarded an annual scholarship for over 30 years to students from areas in which its members reside. Keeping with this tradition, they are pleased to offer the $1,000 Diane Cecala Memorial Scholarship to a musically talented high school senior girl interested in pursuing vocal music in college.
