KMS is committed to ensure all students have access to continued learning in support of E Ola! Learner Outcomes while in a distance learning environment.  The following provides essential components to ensure a quality distance learning experience:

  • Teacher-student contact time occurs with flexibility

  • Online content delivery may be asynchronous and synchronous

  • Student progress should be regularly monitored and ensure feedback on learning progress

  • Continue to support student’s academic and social emotional well-being

Reporting absences - 842-8364

If your child will be absent from school, please report the absence to the attendance hotline:

Child's name, grade level, date and time of absence, reason for absence.

Please have your keiki email their kumu that they will be absent and find out what they missed.

If your child is absent 1-3 days from school with or without fever (no medication) a parent note will suffice. If your child is absent 4 or more days, including weekend, holiday, etc. student must return with a doctor’s note. All absence due to illness on campus will be readmitted by Aunty Ella/Dispensary.
