Program Benefits for Teachers
- Increase math content knowledge for teaching algebra, pre-algebra and transformational geometry topics.
- Learn the conceptual methods to teach mathematics and integrate technology into instruction that aligns with Common Core State Standards and the Standards for Mathematical Practice.
- Increase ability to design and implement lessons and activities that are effective at developing students' understanding of mathematical ideas.
- Receive a stipend of $600 and 10.5 Foothill College quarter units for completing the FAME program. (KCI pays for 6 units; you will be responsible for 4.5 units.)
