I go to school every day like many of my peers. Going to the gymnasium is not just about attending classes, answering the blackboard or doing tests, but also about having fun with friends.
School life is a whole world that surrounds the pupils. Sometimes it is incomprehensible not only to our parents but also to the teachers, who seem to be in it with us, but still, have a different view on many things.
Every morning I pack my backpack and head off to class. As soon as I walk into my gymnasium, hear the noise of children’s voices and the cheers of my friends. I am immediately immersed in the atmosphere.
The most challenging subject for me and my classmates is chemistry. When we come to the class, we know that the strict teacher will always call someone to the blackboard. That’s why we lower our heads as low as possible, trying not to meet the teacher. Fear is replaced by joyful relief when someone else has to answer.
The long-awaited break. It’s the best time to tell my classmates about the great film I saw last night, or to brag about the new gadget. The bell usually rings before I have finished my story, so I continue it during classes. Teachers admonish me, and I genuinely try to concentrate on the subject, but I miss my friends so much that I can’t resist talking to them.
PE lessons, visits to the school canteen, and concerts in the hall are also an integral part of our school life. It’s times like these when you can relax, have fun and release tension.
This is the kind of wonderful world I inhabit almost every day. I love my gymnasium and friends, and I hope my teachers will forgive me if I am not too diligent sometimes.
