Safia Sabr Ibrahim Blbas

Welcome to my Academic Profile page. My name is Safia Sabr Ibrahim Blbas. I am a Lecturer teaching in the Department of Medical Microbiology, Faculty of Science and Health at Koya University, Kurdistan Region, F.R. Iraq.

I have a B.Sc. degree in Biology, an M.Sc. degree in Medical Microbiology and a PhD degree in Biomedical Sciences. I am the Director of General Registration. I am a member of the scientific committee of the Medical Microbiology department. I am a reviewer of ARO-The Scientific Journal of Koya University.

My research interest includes the effects of Dexamethasone on muscle wasting in kidney patients and how this can work on the deactivation of the amino acid transporters in the cell membrane, also because of the COVID outbreak these days I am doing research on this area and connecting it to different population groups.
