Saddon Taha Ahmad

Welcome to my Academic Profile page. My name is Saddon Taha Ahmad. I am a Professor of Nuclear Physics teaching in the School of Medicine (SMED) at Koya University, Kurdistan Region, Iraq.

I have a B.Sc. degree in Physics from the University of Baghdad (1979) and a PhD degree in Nuclear Physics from the University of Sussex (UK) (1989). I had carried many measurements and experiment setting for several months at the European Research Center, ILL, Grenoble, France, during the PhD preparation (1985-1989).I am a member of the Associate Editorial Board (AEB) of ARO-The Scientific Journal of Koya University.

My research interest includes Nuclear structure, Nuclear Models, Nuclear reaction, Nuclear radiation, nuclear spectroscopy and Environmental Protection. I have supervised 12 PhD and 11 MSc graduated students in theoretical and experimental nuclear physics.
