Welcome to my Academic Profile Page. My name is Daban Q. Jaff. I am Assistant Lecturer, teaching in the English Department, Faculty of Education at Koya University, Kurdistan Region, F.R. Iraq. I hold BA degree and MA degree in contemporary American novel. I am member of several academic association, such as Ambassador and member of Poetics And Linguistics Association (PALA), member of German Cognitive Association and The Association for Researching and Applying Metaphor.

I am the translator and proofreader of ARO-The Scientific Journal of Koya University, and KUJHSS-Koya University Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences.

I am also TED Kurdish Language Coordinator. My research interest includes Trauma Theories, Pedagogy, Holocaust Testimonies, Conceptual Metaphor Theory, Discourse and Novel.
