Ayad Hazim Hasan

Welcome to my Academic Profile page. My name is Ayad Hazim Hasan. I am a Professor teaching in the Department of Medical Microbiology, Faculty of Science and Health at Koya University, Kurdistan Region, F.R. Iraq.

I have a B.Sc. degree in Biology, an M.Sc. degree in Microbial Biotechnology, and a Ph.D. degree in Molecular Microbiology. I am the head of the promotion committee. I am a member of the Biochemical Society and Society for General Microbiology. I am a team leader at Koya University Research Centre(SHRC).

My research interest includes Metagenomics, Bioinformatics, Streptomyces Secondary Metabolite, Natural Products, Drug Discovery, Gut Microbiota, and Plastic Degradation.
