In the process of developing this strategic plan, we purposefully steered away from language like "consultation" or "partnership" because this did not reflect who we are as a school community. Consultation and partnership imply two different groups trying to work together.
At Koru School, our community is our heart, and they have always been our heart. That is why our students are the centre of anything that we do.
Ko Koru ko au, ko au ko Koru
Koru is me, and I am Koru (Koru is who I am)
Instead, we use the term engagement - an analogy of listening to our body.
We are proud of who we are and what we achieve for each other. We continue to be the school where your educational dreams become reality and we will always be proud - be strong
