- Research on optimization of cryptographic algorithms such as symmetric-key algorithms, public-key algorithms, and recent post-quantum crypto algorithms
- Research on applied cryptography for securing IT applications such as network applications
- Research on IoT (Internet of Things) security for securing IoT devices and network communication for IoT applications
- Research on developing testing methodologies for Cryptographic Module Validation Program (CMVP)
