Works Associated with IIP Cell allied with the Chemical Engineering Department:

IIP Cell is undertaking Consultancy, Testing, Training and Energy auditing activities for Industries at nominal charges. The testing activities are directly handled by the departments and consolidated monthly activity lists and revenue reports are submitted to the Cell. The other activities are undertaken with prior scrutiny by the IIP cell and with the approval of the Principal.

KEC IIP Cell has membership with Industry associations like

• Confederation of Indian Industries ( CII )

• Coimbatore District Small Industries Association( CODISSIA) 

• Erode District Small Industries Association (EEDISSIA)

• Perundurai SIPCOT Industries Association (PERSIA)

• Coimbatore Productivity Council, Coimbatore (CPC) and

• Salem Productivity Council, Salem (SPC)
