Our research is in applied mathematics and its application to separation processes where both energy-efficiency and product quality are keys.
Some specific applications include:
Mechanistic modeling, data analytics, and optimal design of separation processes for CO2 capture, utilization and sequestration (CCUS) and H2 production;
Development of separation processes for semiconductor specialty gases, battery materials, and pharmaceuticals;
Application of machine learning into process development.
