Meet Mrs. Spencer:

Greetings! I am a proud 4th grade teacher at KMES. Along with Mr. Erredge and our students, we are Team WILD - Where Inspired Learners Develop. I teach English Language Arts and Social Studies and Mr. Erredge teaches Math and Science. 4th grade is an exciting and challenging year centered around the 4 C’s of learning: communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity.

I believe every child can find books they enjoy and that 4th grade is a wonderful time to develop lifelong reading habits. It is my goal to help students see themselves as "Wild Readers" (credit: Donalyn Miller) - people who dedicate time to read, choose books, share books with others, and are part of a vibrant reading community both at school and throughout their lives.
