The Kohler High School Boys Basketball program is one of the most storied boys basketball programs in the state of Wisconsin. With 8 State Tournament appearances (1950, 1956, 1972, 1976, 1980, 1982, 1983, 1999) 4 State Championships (1980, 1982, 1983, 1999) and 1 State Runner-Up finish (1976), this is a program steeped in competitiveness and excellence. There have been 7 - 1000+ point scorers, many State All-Stars, and players who have played at the D3, D2, and D1 level in college.
Our youth program has developed into a thriving group of young players who love to play this game, as well as many others. At grades 3-8, we compete in the NWBBL league on Saturdays from November to February and encourage our teams to play in multiple tournaments during the "off-season" as well. We have seen all players in our youth program grow in their individual skills as well as their ability to play and understand the game from 3rd through 8th grade. We strive competing as a unit with each player contributing what they can to better their team.
Not only is the program proud of it's success on the court, our program continues to turn out fine young men who enter our world ready to become productive and very successful members of society. Former members of our teams are currently heads of companies they have developed, financial planners, upper management level executives, school principals, sports agents, travel agents, chefs, personnel directors, tradesmen, fathers, and other fantastic members of the world around us.
With a focus on building the program up for more success on the court, our student-athletes gain many of the necessary skills they need to become successful members of whatever communities they choose to get involved in. Watching our players develop basketball and life skills that serve them well into the future has become a part of the adds to the story of this program. These are also the same things that will allow Kohler High School Boys Basketball to remain one of the most storied programs in state history.
