Common Questions
How do I import a script? Tap the + button on your Bookshelf. You can import from a PDF, Word document, text file, or type it in manually.
Why aren't characters being detected? MangoScript works best with standard script formatting — character names in uppercase followed by their dialogue. You can always add or rename characters manually in the role assignment screen.
Can I change the voice for a character? Yes. On the role assignment screen, tap a character set to "App Reads" to choose a voice, adjust the speech rate, and assign an emoji.
My recording didn't save. What happened? Make sure MangoScript has microphone (and camera, for video) permissions enabled in Settings > MangoScript. Recordings save automatically when you end a practice session.
How do I delete a script? Swipe left on any script in your Bookshelf to delete it.
